‘Tis the season to get drinking: Two Christmas-themed bars are popping up around Miami
Miami’s over-the-top Christmas bar is back — and this time, the holiday Miracle is popping up in two different locations.
The pop-up holiday bar Miracle in Miami from DRINK Miami returns for a month to serve up holiday-themed cocktails, along with a healthy serving of Christmas music, events, snowfall and so much holiday decor you’ll think you’re at The Christmas Palace.
The bar will set up shop in the hidden bar at Gramps in Wynwood and also take over The Hub at The Doral Yard. Both locations will host holiday karaoke, cocktail workshops and onesie parties (hence the need for holiday cocktails).
“We are so excited this year to extend our footprint to the City of Doral,” said DRINK Miami partner Gio Gutierrez in a statement. “We are bringing the Christmas vibe, cocktails, and hospitality that our DRINK Miami events are known for, but we are adding more this time around.”
Expect popular holiday cocktails like the Christmapolitan (vodka, elderflower, dry vermouth, spiced cranberry sauce, lime, rosemary, absinthe mist) and Bad Santa (aged Jamaican rum, velvet falernum, mixed spice butter, oat milk, nutmeg). The Snowball Old Fashioned (rye, gingerbread, aromatic bitters, wormwood bitters, orange essence) is back, too.
But there are new cocktails on the holiday horizon, many served in festive glasses. The SanTaRex blends blanco tequila, mezcal, melon liqueur, almond orgeat, lime, tiki bitters, while Elfing Around features prosecco, gin, mulled wine reduction, grapefruit shrub, aromatic and orange bitters. There’s even the Jolly Koala with bourbon, cacao nib aperitif, dry vermouth, mulled wine reduction and mole bitters. A few of those, and you’ll be jolly, all right.
You can also take a Naughty Shot or a Nice Shot. Since this is Miami, we’re assuming the Naughty Shots will outnumber the Nice ones.
