HistoryMiami is bringing culture back to downtown.

After holding a virtual event last year due to the pandemic, the museum is holding its fifth annual CultureFest 305 this weekend for a day of music, dance, food and art — and it’s free.

Traditional artists will perform on an outdoor stage, where you can see flamenco dancing, listen to music by Bachaco and hear a percussion performance from Willie Stewart.

Demonstrations throughout the day include marimba music and painting demonstrations as well as forays into Pan-Asian and Ukrainian folk traditions and local food culture. There will also be food and drink vendors.

HistoryMiami was recently the recipient of a CreARTE grant from the Jorge M. Pérez Family Foundation, which awarded $3.2 million to cultural organizations in Miami.
