The Museum of Graffiti knows you want to get out of the house — and it will help you make your own artistically inspired mask so you feel safer doing so.

As Miami-Dade businesses reopen in the wake of the coronavirus quarantine, the Museum of Graffiti reopens May 20, and it has adapted its exhibits and policies to fit the new world order.

Don’t worry. There’s still graffiti. But there are some changes.

First, there’s the brand new outdoor Airbrush Tent, where visitors can design and make masks with help from a local artist. Definitely more attractive and eye-catching than that ugly mask you made out of a ratty bandanna and coffee filters.

Even if you don’t hit the Airbrush Tent — though why wouldn’t you? — you’ll still need to wear a mask to the museum. Staff will be wearing them, too.

If you’d prefer to remain outside, you can still look at the art. Take a free self-guided tour of the outdoor exhibition of 15 murals, which were created by 22 artists from six different countries. You can download a map for information on each piece at https://museumofgraffiti.com/outdoor-murals.

There are two indoor exhibits: “CES: ProCESs” by the artist CES, and the glow-in-the-dark “BunnyKitty Dreamstate Room” by Persue , which will revitalize your long dormant Insta account (how many more photos of your food can you post, exactly?)

Ticket policies have also changed. You must buy them in advance online or from your phone before you get there. Only six people are allowed to enter the museum every 15 minutes.

And if you’re not quite ready to leave your house, no worries: a 360-degree virtual exhibit by CASH4 called “A Tough Pill to Swallow,” can be seen from your couch at https://museumofgraffiti.com/cash4-a-tough-pill-to-swallow.
