‘On Your Feet!’, the most Miami musical ever, is coming back to its roots

On Your Feet! is coming back where it belongs: Miami.

The Broadway musical based on the lives and music of Gloria and Emilio Estefan will kick off the season this fall at Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre as part of its 2020-2021 season.

The jukebox musical first premiered in Miami as part of the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in 2017.

The season also includes “Middletown,” about the friendship of two couples over 33 years. Joining a rotating celebrity cast is Cindy Williams of “Laverne & Shirley.”

“Disney’s Newsies”: March 10-April 4, 2021

“Hank Williams: Lost Highway”: May 12–June 6, 2021

“Now and Then”: July 14 – Aug. 8, 2021

There are still shows left in the 2020 season as well: “Camelot” (March 18-April 12); Agatha Christie’s “Murder on the Orient Express” (May 13-June 7); and “Fuacata!” (July 15-Aug. 16).
