‘Party with us’: Jazz in the Gardens announces awesome lineup that includes Mary J.
The Jazz in the Gardens lineup is already looking stellar and it’s not even complete yet.
Three words: Mary J. Blige.
The two day music fest, March 14 and 15 at Hard Rock Stadium, will also feature performances from such soulful legends as Jill Scott, Charlie Wilson and The Roots.
Miami Gardens Mayor Oliver Gilbert is especially excited for the 15th anniversary, and expects a fun crowd.
“It is not only the city’s signature event,” he said at a press conference, “but it’s also how we say hello to the world as we draw thousands of people from all over to party with us.”
Live Nation has signed on to produce the fest for the first time.
“We are honored,”, said Brittany Flores, president of Live Nation, Miami. “The event is a staple here in South Florida and we are beyond excited to help continue the tradition and usher in the next chapter of this amazing event.”
