You’ve got a few days to go. Game on! Carve some time out for shopping or it’s going to be brutal out there. One of the more civilized places to hit up is oh so lovely Brickell City Centre. Here are a few things to know before you go.

Save on parking

Parking doesn’t have to cost as much as your mortgage. Customers can get 50 percent off parking for up to four hours with a proof of purchase at the guest services desk. Or even better eat somewhere and have the restaurant validate the ticket for you.

Find your car

This is the best thing ever. If you have a senior moment and can’t find your wheels, don’t blast your key alarm. Go to the nearest pay station and type in your license plate. The machine will generate a map to where you are parked. You remember your license plate, right?

Ride the rails

Scientific fact: When the Brickell Bridge goes up, it takes seven minutes off your life. Want to avoid traffic hell altogether? Take the Metromover. The Eighth Street stop is mere steps away. Ditch the high heels for once.

Stay informed

Follow @brickellcitycentre on Instagram to see their daily gifting posts which include special deals and gift ideas. Or post your selfie with the #brickellcitycentre hashtag and look cool for all your followers. Remember “centre” is spelled the British way because it’s so classy.

Ask away

You can never be too annoying for the concierge desk folks. Pepper the nice staffers with questions, like where is the nearest empanada place or Zara. They are located on the second floor near Sephora.

Pose with Santa

The big man on campus is here and he wants to know what’s on your list, even though he probably couldn’t afford it on his North Pole salary.

Take a break

Sometimes retail therapy isn’t enough. BCC hosts free yoga and wellness classes throughout the year and December is no exception. Check out programming and RSVP at www.brickellcitycentre.com.

Bring a friend

Don’t want to shop alone? Bring your adorable fur baby to give you emotional support throughout your holiday journey; BCC is pet friendly.
