Miami Gardens is already known for successfully creating one of South Florida’s largest music festivals with its two-day Jazz in the Gardens. Now the City’s Councilwoman Lisa Davis is making sure that if you’ve never thought of Miami Gardens as being a food Mecca, then this week’s Miami Gardens Wine & Food Experience will change your mind.
From nationally recognized celebrity chefs like G. Garvin and Harlem’s Marcus Samuelsson to unparalleled wine tasting at the pop-up “House of Chic Wine Boutique” to MasterChef Cooking Competitions and the Sweet Freak Baking Competition, be prepared for a VIP foodie experience. It’s all hosted by actor Lamman Rucker on Saturday, November 12 from 7pm – 12pm.
Now in its second year of production, the Miami Gardens Wine & Food Experience is expected to top last year’s attendance of over 600 foodies. More than 20 restaurants, chefs, caterers, and eateries are said to be participating, and for an all-inclusive price of $75, you get to sip and savor on all of the savory bites, sweet treats, and exotic wines as you can handle. In addition to the food, you can also expect an elegant evening of art, live music, and entertainment.
