The 23-acre display, which opens Nov. 23, will include entertainment and food options, of course. But the main thing you’re going to want to know about is the spectacular photo ops.
We’re not merely talking holiday lights, though. The interactive displays from production team Kilburn Media will include special effects, motion-sensing technology, holograms, sculptures and illuminated mazes.
There will even be talking trees, animated butterflies and a dandelion field that actually grows.
In other words, it’s going to be like that Pandora planet in the movie “Avatar” except without the bad dialogue and plot points swiped from “FernGully: The Last Rainforest.”
Nannette Zapata, chief operating officer at Fairchild, calls it “the perfect synergy of out-of-this-world fantasy and stunning sensations inspired by real life phenomenon.”
Sounds good to us.
