What We Had: Tucked away on a Lincoln Road alley, is one of Miami’s hottest restaurants to make it’s mark; and locals are invited to taste a sample of their menu at a fraction of the cost thanks to their Miami Spice Dinner menu. We started with an order of Edamame for the table, which quickly followed with the Chotto Ceviche made with branzino sashimi, sweet potato, classic Peruvian corn, cilantro, chive oil, and a citrus sauce that gave it a salty kick. The Ebi Harumaki, better known as the shrimp spring roll made with shiitake, yuzu, shiso, and ponzu salsa, were crisped to perfection. An unlikely hit was the Nasu Miso- an eggplant miso with apricot, puffed soba, and sesame seeds. A traditional spicy tuna roll is also included and dessert changes daily. We had the Brûlée de la passion, an almond cake with ahi amarillo and guava sorbet.
