2014 was one heck of a year for native New Yorker Sam Griesemer, better known among the music community as Samo Sound Boy. Publications such as The Fader and Pitchfork praised his March 2014 EP, “Open / Divine,” while “Friend of Mine”, his debut LP as one half of recording duo DJ Dodger Stadium, caused tremendous buzz among fans last July.
His momentum doesn’t show signs of stopping. Just over a quarter into the new year, The Body High label boss recently released the stream of his new album ‘Begging Please,’ which is scheduled for official release April 28 via Body High.

The same week as his album release, Samo Sound Boy will be touching down at Bardot in Miami on May 2 for a special performance. Chicago journalist Dave Quam has described his music as “weird, banging and beautiful.” In other words, it’s just the kind of sound that has made Bardot so beloved among forward-thinking music aficionados. Supporting him are Bag Raiders, JBZ and Dude Skywalker.
