For women who love all things hair and beauty, you’ll be excited to know that the leading premium global hair extensions brand, Indique, has chosen Miami to open up their fifteen location in the heart of the MiMo district at at 7285 Biscayne Blvd, Miami. In celebration, Indique is hosting a grand opening event on Saturday, April 11th, from 1p.m. – 4 p.m. featuring complimentary hair giveaway, exclusive discounts, styling tips, and more. Indique Hair Co-founder and Creative Director, Ericka Dotson, will also host a ribbon cutting ceremony at 1pm. An invitation-only private VIP Preview Miami Style Suite is being hosted the evening prior to the grand opening for media, bloggers, and influencers only.
Indique’s co-founder, Ericka Dotson, went from working a corporate job and feeling burned out and unsatisfied to following her passion and switching careers by enrolling in cosmetology school. She would later venture into the hair business as a hair stylist specializing in premium Indian hair extensions. As luck would find it, she met her current business partner who was already importing Indian hair, and the two made beauty magic together. And now 15 locations later with freestanding boutiques in Brooklyn, SoHo, Pelham & Queens in New York, South Orange, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Miami, Boston, Silver Spring, and Johannesburg, South Africa, Indique Hair International has become a pioneer in the hair extensions industry with sales topping $10 million in 2013 alone.
“We’ve had loyal customers in South Florida for years,” shares Dotson, “and given that six out of ten Black women wear hair extensions, we’re excited to service the diversity of African-American, Caribbean, and Latina women here and give them the full brand and store experience.”
