Every second Wednesday of the month the Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center hosts an intimate jazz show in the lobby lounge. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the shows starting at 6:30 p.m. Cocktails are available and during the intermission guests can take a guided tour of the Olympia Theater to learn about this historic theater that has played host to some of the most important performers in history like Elvis Presley, B.B. King, Luciano Pavarotti and Etta James since it was opened in 1926.
This Wednesday’s headliner is the Roberto Rodriguez Quartet with the Cuba-born, Miami-raised percussionist leading his group in jazz favorites and originals. The show is free and open to the public.
