Foodies, you’ve got Miami Spice and if you love getting pampered it’s another month of spa deals. Prefer loud events? Then Monster Jam or wrestling events are for you.
1. Miami Spice Month
Miami’s restaurant scene is no joke, that’s why Miami Spice stretches for two months. It’s a chance for foodies to take advantage of the two-month promotion where the city’s top restaurants offer up discounted three-course (sometimes more) meals (lunches $23, dinners $39) featuring signature dishes and specialties prepared by world-renowned chefs. 2. Miami Spa Month
Get pampered at some of Miami’s chicest spas for rates as low as $109. Lapis Spa at the Fontainebleau, spas at the Ritz Carlton and Mandarin Oriental as well as the Biltmore and Setai are all on the list. Just say ahhhhh… Through Aug. 31.
3. Monster Jam
Crushing, crunching, roaring noises take over the BB&T as monster trucks take over the floor. El Toro Loco, Grave Digger, Scooby Doo, Earth Shaker and Zombie are all part of the action. Bring your ear plugs or just brave it!
4. WWE Live SummerSlam Heatwave Tour
Body slams, dives, suplexes and punches will fly in the ring when these guys and gals face off. Champions Jinder Mahal and Kevin Owens will be there, headlining the event. Joining them will be Charlotte Flair, Carmella and Baron Corbin.
5. Lifehouse & Switchfoot: Looking for Summer Tour
California alt-rock band Switchfoot perform their hits “Dare You to Move,” “Mess of Me” and “Dark Horses” opening for them are Canadian band Lighthouse.
6. International Ballet Festival of Miami
International dance companies ranging from classical ballet to contemporary converge on Miami for cutting edge performances, workshops, master classes, an art exhibition, book presentation and a dance film series.
7. Ed Sheeran with special guest James Blunt
Singer/songwriter and guitarist Ed Sheeran’s latest hit “Castle on the Hill” will surely be on the set list along with “Shape of You” and plenty of the English musician’s other hits. Opening is James Blunt known for the hit song “You’re Beautiful.”
