Meet the meerkats and feed the camels at Zoo Miami’s revamped attraction

Zoo Miami will celebrate the re-opening of its Critter Connection on July 22 and 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Formerly known as the Children’s Zoo, the kid-friendly area will boast renovations an awesome new playground, a revamped Carousel Cafe and Wacky Barn and more.

Guests can take advantage of exclusive opening weekend activities like animal encounters, Zoo Squad meet-and-greets, and $1 carousel rides, to name a few.  

Most importantly, this corner of Zoo Miami will now have a new ICEE shop called Miami Ice.

Admission tickets for Zoo Miami are available at shop.zoomiami.org. Members and children under 3 are free.   Zoo Miami is located at 12400 SW 152 Street, Miami, FL 33177.
