1. In the Lobby Lounge Jazz!

This month’s second jazz series at the Olympia Theater pays tribute to saxophonist Cannonball Adderly and singer Nancy Wilson and features a performance by Jesse Jones Jr Quartet and Brenda Alford. Hosted every second Wednesday of the month, In the Lobby Lounge Jazz series is a cool (and free!) way to enjoy chill vibes after work. Cocktails are available for purchase.

2. Black Audio Film Collective at PAMM

This week’s Thursday wind down session at the Perez Art Museum Miami features a screening of Reece Auguiste’s 1991 film “Mysteries of July. The film investigates a number of deaths that occurred under police custody in Britain and will be introduced by writer and filmmaker Jason Fitzroy Jeffers. It’s free with museum admission and open to the public.

3. Spice it Up Miami featuring Chef Danny

This month’s Spice It Up series features Chef Danny of the highly rated Dominican restaurant, Yarumba Restaurant. Make it a Girl’s Night Out and participate in an interactive chef’s cooking demo or a mixologist session while dancing to Caribbean music. There’s also a 45-minute walking tour of Little Haiti where you can experience the culture and arts revitalization in the community.
