Classical music rolls on through mid-July with these concerts
Two venues in Miami – Trinity Cathedral Church and Barry University – are your choices for classical music performances over the next two weeks. They’re the host sites for the Miami Music Festival and Sundays in July concert series.
1. Sundays in July
Compositum Musicae Novae, a group of composers and musicians under Music Director Modesto Marcano perform a classical string program of music by Schubert and Tchaikovsky. July 16, 4 p.m., Trinity Cathedral. http://www.musicinmiami.net/
2. Miami Music Festival
Conductor’s Institute Concert featuring participants in the Conducting Institute’s two-week intensive program of music by Rossini, Beethoven and Mozart. July 14 at 7:30 p.m. Barry University, Shepard and Ruth K. Broad Performing Arts Center.

Summer Chamber Works Performance of chamber music by members of the Miami Music Festival Orchestra Institute. July 16 and 21 at 7:30 p.m., Barry University, Cor Jesu Chapel
Opera Aria Nights features students of Miami Music Festival’s Opera Institute performing well known arias with the 95-member Miami Music Festival Orchestra. July 17 and 19 at 7:30 p.m. at Barry University Andy Gato Gallery

3. Miami Wagner Institute
