Art Miami/CONTEXT

Where: The Art Miami Pavilion in Miami Midtown Arts District – Midtown Blvd (NE 1st Avenue) between NE 32nd & NE 31st Street, Miami.
Art Miami showcases top-notch modern and contemporary art from hundreds of galleries and art institutions worldwide. The event presents participants and viewers with the opportunity to experience premier works in the global contemporary art movement. Coinciding with Art Miami is CONTEXT, featuring trendsetting galleries from around the globe exhibiting in a state-of-the-art pavilion directly adjacent to Art Miami.
Design Miami/
Dec. 1-4
Where: Meridian and 19th Street, adjacent to the Miami Beach Convention Center
Design Miami/ brings together the most influential collectors, gallerists, designers, curators and critics from around the world in celebration of design culture and commerce. The event occurs alongside the Art Basel fair to showcase museum-quality exhibitions of 20th and 21st century furniture, lighting and objets d’art. The event presents collaborations with designers and design institutions, panels and lectures with luminaries from the worlds of design, architecture, art and fashion, and unique commissions from the world’s top emerging and established designers and architects.
Art Basel Miami Beach

Where: Miami Beach Convention Center, 1901 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach and various galleries and museums around the city.
Art Basel Miami Beach brings together the world’s top galleries, art dealers, artists of all media, collectors and art aficionados for a series of events, parties, satellite fairs, film screenings, musical performances and architecture and design displays. Tied to the prestigious art show, Art Basel Switzerland, Art Basel Miami Beach brings more than 250 prominent galleries from around the world with artwork by more than 2,000 artists. Newcomers, established artists, masters and emerging artists all share the stage at this non-stop art party.
Seraphic Fire

Where: Various venues throughout South Florida
Grammy Award winning chorus Seraphic Fire offers the rapturous sound of a Capella carols at their annual candlelight Christmas concerts plus they offer performances of Handel’s masterwork “Messiah.”
Winterfest Boat Parade
Dec. 10
Where: Birch State Park (prime spot for viewing) – 3109 E. Sunrise Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, boats will cruise the Intracoastal Waterway.
Winterfest Boat Parade is a highly anticipated annual event that allows both viewers and sea-bound participants with a chance to watch the many gorgeous boats glimmering across Fort Lauderdale’s renowned waterway in an elegant, colorful spectacle. The viewing grandstand will be in Birch State Park. and the participating boats will be organized in the Intracoastal Waterway. This year’s celebrity Grand Marshall is Pitbull.
George Balanchine’s “The Nutcracker”

The holiday season is not complete without the Miami City Ballet’s production of George Balanchine’s “The Nutcracker” with a cast of more than 100 dancers, glorious sets and costumes, magical special effects, beautiful music, and exceptional dancing by international stars.

Y100’s Mack, Nina and Nick of the “Mack with Nina & Nick” show host a star-studded lineup including Diplo, Meghan Trainor, Charlie Puth, The Chainsmokers, Fifth Harmony, Nicky Jam, Alessia Cara, Tove Lo, Lukas Graham and Hailee Steinfeld.
Miami Beach Bowl

Where: Marlins Park, 501 Marlins Way, Miami
Marlins Park hosts the Miami Beach Bowl will feature a premier matchup between universities from the American Athletic Conference and Conference USA.
Orange Bowl
Dec. 30
Where: Hard Rock Stadium, 347 Don Shula Dr., Miami Gardens
The Capital One Orange Bowl brings together the top college football team from the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Southeastern Conference or the Big Ten for a show down.
King Mango Strut Parade
Dec. 31
Where: Downtown Coconut Grove, parade begins at the corner of Commodore Plaza and Main Highway
Give 2016 a send-off at this parade of the absurd that takes place down the streets of Coconut Grove with wacky costumes, crazy presentations of topical themes, live music, and outrageous shenanigans that highlight the year’s most bizarre events.
New Year’s Eve
Dec. 31
