Graphic Intervention: 25 Years of International AIDS Awareness Posters 1985–2010
Discover a quarter-century’s worth of AIDS Awareness campaigns from across the globe at The Wolfsonian Museum (1001 Washington Ave., Miami Beach), which received a donation by Harry S. Hacker of more than 3,600 AIDS awareness and prevention posters from over 80 countries.
Guests can see 150 posters from the collection and learn the different and creative visual methods used to raise consciousness about HIV/AIDS prevention and safe sex in different parts of the world. The museum is open noon-6 p.m. daily (closed Wednesdays). Admission $5-7.
