Yelp’s Big Bite in Little Haiti

Some of the city’s best local restaurants will battle in a culinary clash for who’s got the best bite. Enjoy cocktails, live music, and tasty treats. Free to attend with a suggested $10 donation at the door to benefit Tradisyon Lakou Lakay, a nonprofit organized to culturally and academically educate children, youth and adults in the community, through Haitian art, music, dance and literature.
Big Night in Little Haiti featuring Magnum band

Every third Friday, a diversity of people from Haitian and Caribbean to Hispanic and Caucasian attend Big Night in Little Haiti for a cultural experience featuring live Haitian performances from top acts, arts, and activities for the kids. This month features the popular Magnum Band in concert and DJ Mack spinning between sets. In the art gallery is the Iris Photo Collective Contemporary Photography Exhibition and hands on children’s art activities in the studio hosted by Bass Museum and Positive Impact. Enjoy delicious kernel cuisine for sale from Leela’s Restaurant and a cash bar. This event is always free and is presented by the Rhythm Foundation.

5th Annual Women of Color Empowerment Conference
