Get ready to sweat for a good cause this Saturday as Barry’s Bootcamp Miami Beach hosts the first annual Sweating for Change block party in celebration of Playing for Change Day. The bootcamp will lead Sunset Harbour fitness studios and neighbors including Anatomy at 1220 and FlyBarre with a day-long itinerary of workouts to benefit the Playing for Change Foundation, a charity founded by Barry’s Bootcamp partner Whitney Kroenke to raise money for the creation of music and art schools for children around the world.
From 8:45 a.m.-1:45 p.m. Jugo Fresh will be selling Athlete’s Water from the Holy Water line at the Barry’s Bootcamp Studio as well as the Sunset Harbour shop with 100 percent of proceeds going towards the foundation. All day long, Barry’s will be selling raffle tickets offering prizes like a one-month unlimited membership to Green Monkey, VIP Experience at LIV/Story and much more. Participants of the block party will complete the day with a happy hour at Bay Club from 5-7 p.m. where they can enjoy the $6 specialty PCF cocktail with 100 percent of the proceeds going towards the foundation.
