Misha's Cupcakes celebrates 10 years of the sweet life in Miami
If you have been to any party, gala, fundraiser, fancy pants supermarket, tea party or any other high class function in Miami, chances are you have indulged in the bite-sized magnificence that is a Misha’s cupcake. This week, the woman behind the frosting, Cupcake Queen Misha Kuryla Gomez, celebrates 10 years of saccharine success with her family-owned cupcake empire, Misha’s Cupcakes. What started out as a small operation she ran out of her home using a recipe passed on to her by her mother as inspiration, Misha’s business has grown to include five stores (with a sixth to be opened this winter) and has become the gold standard for Miami cupcakes.
To commemorate the anniversary, Misha is hosting a Happy Hour celebration at all of her stores from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday. Misha will host the festivities at her Coral Gables location (1548 S Dixie Hwy, Coral Gables) with $1 cupcakes and complimentary vanilla cupcakes for all. Misha’s will also be presenting a recipe retrospective this week, revisiting their original six flavors and offering a different flavor for $1 each day.
