Miami’s media maven Vanessa James of Vanessa James Media hosted the 4th VJ Media Mixology with a chic crowd of media personalities, bloggers, trendsetters, and local influencers. The signature event presented by Cadillac offered a carefully curated experience and an opportunity for partnering brands to organically connect with and engage Miami’s multicultural influencers. As is expected of the VJM Media Mixology, the event was hosted on September 26 at Studio 255 in Wynwood and brought pure energy, sexy people, and Caribbean vibes in preparation for Carnival. This year’s theme – “Dare Greatly” – was clearly echoed in every aspect of the event.

As a highlight of the event, four individuals who are paving their own way to greatness was presented with a “Spirit of Excellence” Award. The honorees – Jawan Strader, Jeannette Kaplun, Chandra Maharaj, and Felecia Hatcher – each come from various backgrounds and industries with their own unique stories to success and recognized for their tenacity and drive to “Dare Greatly.”

A few lucky guests also won some cool prizes ranging from a one week experience in a Cadillac, Monster N-Tune Headphones, a pair of roundtrip tickets courtesy of JetBlue and a 4 day/3 night stay at Moon Palace Grande, Jamaica.
