If chicness is just a state of mind, we dub Bal Harbour Shops as the brains of one elegant operation. Home to some of Miami’s most high-end boutiques, it shouldn’t be a surprise that Maison Goyard has joined the shopping center’s luxury layout. The Parisian heritage brand, known for perennial refinement, offers a line of trunks, handbags, accessories and leather goods. Established in 1853, the brand has served brilliant dignitaries — royal by blood and fashion — for centuries. Past clients include Pablo Picasso, Jacques Cartier, Princess Aga Khan, Coco Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld and Edith Piaf. (No big deal.)
South Floridians may wear sunglasses, but that doesn’t block our discerning eyes from recognizing a good thing, right? Time to get lost in “Goyardine” chevron, exotic skins and leather à la mode.
