Black Friday is upon us – again! (Wait, weren’t there some pre-Black Friday deals we just took part in, like, last week.) The biggest shopping day of the year means developing the baddest strategy so you shop like the discount ninja that you truly are. Aside from visiting a website like BlackFriday.com that scores ALL of the Black Friday flyers before they hit your inbox, here are some discoveries we made that could give you the edge this shopping weekend.
Sears is going to open with a round of doorbusters on Thanksgiving (Nov. 26) from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. and will reopen at 5 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 27 with a second additional round of doorbusters.

But what we are really pumped about with Sears is its “Uber-like” on-demand options that will save time and stress, especially in Miami traffic. Check these out:
In-Vehicle Pickup, Return and Exchange
The service, available on the Sears app, lets members pick up, return or exchange their online purchases for free – guaranteed in five minutes or less – without ever leaving their vehicle. (Now imagine that when you have a pet / sleeping child / melting frozen foods in your car!)
With Reserve It, customers can easily shop online for the latest fashion trends, footwear, accessories and more, place them on hold with just one click and then try them on in-store. (Are you serious? Like a personal shopper, people!) Click on the product, style and size you want and select “Reserve In Store.” Members will receive an email notification to alert them when their products are ready to try on.
Anyone, Anywhere Pickup
Sears customers can order gifts on Sears.com, and have anyone pick up the purchase at any Sears store! (We got a job for you, Tio Pepe!) The order will be prepared at the chosen store for the pickup contact who will be notified when it is ready.
The savings has already started at Target and will continue through Tuesday, Dec. 1. What we like about Target’s strategy is every day features a different themed savings, so if you plan accordingly you can score some serious savings. For example, guests will likely need kitchen gear as they prep for Thanksgiving, so on Monday, Nov. 23, they are offering 20 percent off kitchenware. And on Wednesday, Nov. 25, the day before Thanksgiving when no one wants to cook a big meal, Target offers a buy one, get one free deal on frozen pizza.
Here is a complete schedule on the Target deals

- Tuesday, Nov. 24: 40 percent off sleepwear
- Wednesday, Nov. 25: buy one, get one frozen pizza
