The City of Miami Gardens does it again with a winning formula of bringing high value entertainment and culture to the city. The City’s Councilwoman, Lisa C. Davis, has conceptualized a foodies’ paradise for the inaugural Miami Gardens Wine & Food Experience following in the City’s footsteps of the massively successful Jazz in the Gardens (JITG), which takes over the City for two days of music magic every March to sold out crowds. This milestone event for the City is the Councilwoman’s vision to offer residents and the entire South Florida community with great entertainment options and an enriching experience for the professional seeking more premium events.

The experience kicks off with an evening of entertainment, great wine, and culinary delights for about 800 attendees expected to participate in this inaugural event. From complimentary tastings from South Florida’s hottest chefs, samplings of renowned international/national wine & spirits, a mixologist showoff, hands-on cooking demos, and a master chef cook-off, the chic social evening promises to be an intimate, grown and sexy event for foodies, glitterati, and socialites. South Florida’s local celebrated chefs – Chef Ali, Chef Troy, Chef Mimi, and Chef Lemaire will tantalize the tastebuds while local crowd pleasers Jai Rose, Mariea Antoinette, James Dawkins, Jared Burnet, and Melton Mustafa will keep the party going with live entertainment. The icing on the cake is a special guest appearance by actor and eye candy Omari Hardwick who will also serve as celebrity judge.

Food festivals are commonplace in South Florida, but what makes the Miami Gardens Wine & Food Festival different is that it’s infused with culture and also follows a model of success that has proven to be successful for Jazz in the Gardens. Miami Gardens is proving that there is culture and viable entertainment options available in North Dade and apart from the typical options on the beach or in the Downtown area.

The inaugural food festival will benefit The Women’s Fund. General admission tickets are $65 per person, and VIP tickets are $125 per person. Tickets are available online at
