Movie lovers can now step up their movie watching experience and enjoy the latest blockbuster movies in luxury at the all new iPic Theaters at Intracoastal Mall that opened earlier in December in North Miami Beach. The innovative movie theater concept perfectly combines dining, theater, and entertainment for an affordable luxury experience. You can watch movies from the comfort of oversized plush reclining leather seats and get a culinary dining experience with a personal service-call button that allows you to order dishes and hand-crafted cocktails directly from your seat. Premium ticketholders can even cozy up with a pillow and blanket all provided to you. The North Miami Beach location features iPic’s flagship contemporary design with original art throughout by Mike Stilkey and Peter Tunney. This is the second South Florida location to open up with the first located at Mizner Park in Boca Raton and two more slated for Delray Beach and in Broward.

The Intracoastal location celebrated its grand opening with a preview dinner at the theater’s Tuck Room, an intimate drinking den and gastro lounge presented by three-time James Beard Award-Winning Chef Sherry Yard and mixologist sommelier Adam Seger who’s appeared on the TV Food Network and several morning shows. In a modern speakeasy style, Tuck Room offers diners shareable plates with American and world cuisine influences and Prohibition-themed libations. Menu items include seafood selections, salads, and desserts. Patrons can either dine in, purchase their meal from the theater’s iPic Express and carry it into the theater, and/or order directly from their seat. A full bar is available and includes beer, wine, champagne, and hand-crafted cocktails.

For the true movie fanatic, all seats may be reserved on iPic’s reservation system at or by downloading the iPic app. A membership program is also available that offers discounted pricing, priority notification of tickets available for new movie releases, free upgrades to premium seats, and access to exclusive movie showings. iPic Theaters is founded by Hamid Hashemi who also founded Muvico Theaters.
