Things To Do

Wednesdays are "Glee"ful

It’s Wednesday. Not going out tonight?

DVR the boring “Project Runway” on Lifetime and tune into Fox and watch “Glee” instead.

After only 2 aired episodes, “Glee” has become the first show of the new fall season to be picked up for a full 22-episode run. If you haven’t seen it yet, watch it. The show comes from the mind of Ryan Murphy, the creator of “Nip/Tuck,” and the producer of late 90s “Popular”. “Glee” is being marketed by Fox as a new comedy for the aspiring underdog in all of us.

The show centers around the efforts of Will Schuester (played by Matthew Morrison) as he organizes a student glee club in a middle American high school. The first episode which aired back in May, gave viewers a peek into the wonderful world of geek-musical theater.

All the students hold their own in the group, look for one glee club character in particular, Kurt (played by Chris Colfer). Kurt’s flamboyant style, love for Marc Jacobs and hair spray are definite signs of closet doors opening up and they do in episode 3. In future episodes, Kurt tries out for the football team as a kicker.

Click and watch Kurt turn it out with his interpretation of Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” video.
