The French brand, best known for its preppy polo shirts, just announced its return for the second consecutive year as an official sponsor and outfitter of the Miami Open Presented by Itaú.
“Following the success of our 2015 partnership, we’re excited to continue this major tennis tournament sponsorship for LACOSTE in the U.S., with the 2016 Miami Open presented by Itau,” President and CEO of LACOSTE North America Joëlle Grünberg says. “South Florida is a key market for the LACOSTE brand and this sponsorship reinforces our commitment to both this important region and our tennis heritage,” he adds.
The Miami Open is taking place in Key Biscayne, from March 21st through April 3rd, 2016, and LACOSTE will continue its Miami Open partnership, dressing the tournament staff in the brand’s signature sporting elegance. Founded by French tennis champion, René Lacoste, the brand continues its longstanding love affair with the sport of tennis and will host a series of events throughout the city of Miami. During this time, consumers will have multiple opportunities to join LACOSTE and its love for tennis by sharing their #BeautifulTennis stories on social media for the chance to win tickets to the Miami Open.
