Afropolitan Miami

This monthly First Fridays Afro-Caribbean professional mixer features a night of connections, culture, and a dance party  with an eclectic lineup of music including Afrobeats, Soca, Dancehall, Kompa, and Hip Hop. Come early to network from 6pm – 8pm and stay late for the party from 8pm – 11pm. Free before 7pm with RSVP by March 31 at AfropolitanMiami.com and $10 with RSVP after 7pm.

The gentlemen of the Iota Pi Lamda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc hosts an Alpha mix & mingle with happy hour specials. Sankofa Jazz Fest

Saturday, April 2, 2PM – 6PM – African Heritage Cultural Arts Center, 6161 NW 22nd Ave, Miami


The Sankofa Jazz Fest returns with another entertaining lineup of true jazz artists with performances by pianist Bobby Floyd, vocalist Courtney Mickens, saxophonist Melton Mustafa, and Latin jazz vocalist Cachet Lopez. The concert is free and food vendors will be on site.

L.E.A.D. Nation and the South Florida Youth Summit Planning Committee hosts a social party with music by Hot 105’s DJ DP.  Select open bar from 8pm – 9:30pm.
