Dear Coral Gables: We know you’re used to high-end restaurant concepts. But you need to know Raising Cane’s is on the way.

The fast-casual fried chicken restaurant, known for its combos and its insanely popular Cane’s sauce, opens Tuesday, Feb. 3 on Coral Way in the former spot of a Boston Market.

A the new location the brand, which has restaurants in Miami Beach, Doral, Cutler Bay and Homestead, will feature memorabilia from local sports teams like the Stingarees and the Miami Heat as well as historical memorabilia from Coral Gables.

The party starts before the opening at 10 a.m. Tuesday with a “Lucky 20” drawing that will award 20 customers 13 and older free Cane’s for a year. Entries will be accepted from 8 to 9 a.m., and customers must be there to win. Also, expect a line: Miami always shows up when a new Raising Cane’s pops up.

For the first 100 combos purchased, diners will get a Cane’s trucker hat and a free box combo for a future visit. There will be a DJ, performances by the Coral Gables Cheer Team and an on-site dog adoption from 8-9 a.m.

CJ Clement, area leader of restaurants for Raising Cane’s, praised Coral Way’s sense of community, saying, “It’s a neighborhood where people genuinely care about one another and take pride in the place they call home. We’re excited to bring more of Raising Cane’s to Miami.”
