This popular Spanish tapas spot opened in Aventura (and it’s not at the mall)
Aventura got a gift just in time for the holidays: Bulla Gastrobar is now open in the city.
Located just south of the Aventura Mall, Bulla opened just before Christmas, with a 5,531-square-foot space that includes indoor and outdoor dining. The restaurant is operated by Centurion Restaurant Group.
The look of the restaurant, which seats 253 diners, will be familiar to fans of the brand, which has eight locations including Doral and Coral Gables.
Expect the same menu, too, a blend of cured meats and cheeses, plus dishes like patatas bravas, croquetas, grilled octopus and paella as well as seasonal favorites from culinary director Felix Plasencia.
You’ll also find the popular medjool dates stuffed with chorizo and manchego and wrapped in bacon, served with an arugula salad as well as canelones, a Catalan-style dish with ground beef and pork baked with bechamel and manchego and finished with truffle oil.
Also on the menu: montaditos, comprised of brisket, tomato marmalade, guindilla and queso.
Carlos Centurion, president and founder of the hospitality group, said the team was excited to introduce Bulla to the northern art of Miami-Dade County.
“As the area’s first authentic Spanish restaurant, we look forward to serving locals and visitors alike,” he said in a statement. “We’re confident that the concept will provide our guests with the ideal dining experience.”
