The creators of a famous New York pizzeria are turning a popular Brooklyn pop-up into a full-service restaurant in Miami Beach.

Located on the bottom floor of the new luxury condominium tower 72 Park in the North Beach neighborhood, Ezio’s is the creation of Brandon Hoy and Carlo Mirarchi. The duo opened the original pizza spot Roberta’s in Brooklyn in 2008, later opening two more Roberta’s in New York.

Ezio’s, which focuses on dry-aged beef and homemade pasta and opens Dec. 19, started life as a pop-up within Roberta’s; Miami Beach marks its first permanent location.

Mirarchi serves as executive chef and oversees the Italian-inspired menu. There’s a raw bar, so starters include stone crab claws and crudo as well as wagyu carpaccio with persimmon and arugula. Pastas include linguine cacio e pepe with winter truffle and pappardelle with braised veal and parmigiano reggiano.

At Ezio’s, chops are a specialty. Among the choices are a 55-day dry-aged Kansas City steak; a 30-day dry-aged double cut saddle of lamb; 90-day dry-aged bone in wagyu strip steak and a 90-day dry-aged grass-fed vintage beef.

Beverages are also a big deal at Ezio’s, with a wine list that encompasses more than 110 labels and a tableside martini program that offers add-ons like caviar and oysters and special martinis.
