Madrid. London. Dubai. Monte-Carlo.

And now, the internationally famous Amazonico restaurant, bar and lounge is coming to Miami.

Created by husband-and-wife team Sandro Silva and Marta Seco in 2016, Amazonico arrives in the Brickell neighborhood with food, cocktails, live music, DJs, a lush, jungle-themed interior — and a high-energy atmosphere that grows more frenetic as the night wears on.

Silva and Secox said that Miami was the “next natural step” for the brand’s expansion.

“We’ve always felt like Amazonico was made for this city,” they said in a statement. “The cultural energy, the people, the rhythm of life all align perfectly with what we’ve built.”

Opening Sept. 26 in a neighborhood that includes glamorous hot spots like Gekko, Komodo, Delilah and and Sexy Fish Miami, Amazonico offers different experiences on three different floors. On the first floor you’ll find the restaurant, which is designed by Lazaro Rosa Violan, and features indoor and outdoor seating and a stage that will highlight different bands every night.

The menu draws on Brazilian and other South American traditions. You’ll find items like arroz chaufa (red, black and white rice with duck breast and a fried egg) and lubina al espeto (sea bass cooked over an open fire). Meat offerings include picanha rodizio and wagyu beef.

The restaurant will also offer only-in-Miami items like corvina with artichokes and a spicy broth; Alaskan King crab with leaves and Nikkei-style dressing and black tiger prawns with semolina and coconut bisque.

The atmosphere shifts to full-on lounge on the second floor, which guests can reach by climbing a mirrored stairway. Here, cocktails take center stage, along with a sushi counter that serves crudos, nigiri, maki and more, while DJs and percussionists provide musical accompaniment. There’s also a private dining area that seats 14. Expect drinks like white sangria, the Amazonegroni and the Peacock Spritz, which is served in a peacock glass.

Unsurprisingly, the third floor will open into a rooftop bar, with views of Miami’s skyline. It will open in October, when the weather is more favorable for lingering over a cocktail and watching the lights of the city. Another separate nightlife spot is scheduled to open on the third floor later this year as well.
