A Brickell restaurant has been replaced by a new concept from the same hospitality group.

Now occupying 1000 S. Miami Ave., former home to One K Miami, is Pasta & Juliet, another restaurant from the Miami-based The Dirty Rabbit Group, which also operates The Dirty Rabbit Wynwood, Mad Club Wynwood, Sala de Despecho in Wynwood and Bagatelle on the Miami River.

Pasta & Juliet, appropriately enough, serves pasta, pizza and other Italian fare with indoor and outdoor dining. And though the original restaurant is gone, the One K bar concepts live on at the same address.

The One K Bar remains open on the outdoor patio, while the One K Room continues to operate as a speakeasy tucked away for after-hours drinking and dancing with a full-service bar, bottle service and weekly programming with happy hour, a party series and standup comedy on Wednesdays.

Dirty Rabbit CEO Luis Ginestra said the group wasn’t ready to leave Brickell.

“This neighborhood is full of energy, culture and culinary curiosity — everything we love,” he said. “We’re inviting guests to slow down, savor every bite and fall in love with Italian cuisine all over again.”

Expect starters like mortadella crostini and fried calamari and popular entrees like pappardelle burrata and crispy prosciutto. You’ll also find classics like spaghetti pomodoro, bolognese and fusilli al pesto, as well as a variety of pizzas, from the basic margherita to truffle and pear or pesto and rosemary honey.

Pasta & Juliet also offers the best kind of bar: a mozzarella bar, which serves fresh cheeses and salads, like the Panzanella with tomatoes, apple, basil, olives and stracciatella or the Burratina, with rosemary honey, pistachios, pesto, semi-dried tomatoes and bread. Don’t worry: You can get a Caprese, too.
