Have Miami locals stopped dining out as much? The Miami Herald wants to hear from you
The summer has been a rough one for Miami area restaurants.
In fact, chefs and restaurateurs from around Miami-Dade County all agree on one thing — the summer of 2025 is the toughest in recent memory. As we reported, there are plenty of reasons why this summer stands out as a make-or-break one for local restaurants.
But it’s not just because tourists are staying away. Locals, they say, seem to be dining out less often than they usually do.
We want to know if this is true for Miami Herald readers. Are you eating out less often than you used to? Are you patronizing certain old favorites or only trying new ones? Have your dining habits changed — and why? We want to hear from you.
Fill out this form and let us know how things have changed with your own dining out habits. A reporter may reach out to you to follow up with additional questions. If you can’t see the form below, click the link here.
