The velvet ropes — and a lot of glamour — are back on Ocean Drive.

You’ll find them at the newly opened J’Adore, a glittering dinner cabaret experience in South Beach, which blends fine dining with an elegant supper club atmosphere.

Creators MV3 Studios and BLG Group call it “our love letter to the golden era of Ocean Drive.”

“This isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a revival,” said entertainment director Sunni Stephens. “We’re bringing back the spectacle, the tease and the intimacy of classic cabaret with a multicultural edge. It’s seductive, soulful and unforgettable.”

Located inside a historic building just steps away from the Versace Mansion, the 8,000-square-foot space sprawls over two floors, seating up to 240 guests indoors and outdoors. The vibe is theatrical and there’s a lot of red, with velvet banquettes, gilded mirrors and chandeliers offering Parisian style.

On the first floor, you’ll find a lounge and the main dining room, which acts as the main performance area and the focal point of J’Adore. The band is stationed on the second floor, and performers descend from there to the first floor.

All tables and banquettes and bar seats face the live entertainment, which doesn’t stay in one set area but meanders throughout the room.

The restaurant and cabaret is open daily, but shows run Thursday through Sunday, with different themes. On Thursdays, you can witness the burlesque fantasy House of Desire, while Fridays bring Havana Nights and as much Latin and Caribbean rhythm as you can bear.

The Vegas-style Grand Cabaret is on Saturday, with Sundays paying homage to Miami Vice, the 1980s and a whole lot of neon.

The second floor also boasts a bar and plush banquettes. The live entertainment runs between 7-10 p.m., then J’Adore morphs into a late-night lounge scene with bottle service and curated music.

The kitchen is led by Cuban-American chef Aleric Constantin, a Miami native who has worked at Michael’s Genuine, B Bistro, Mandolin, Ariete and the Michelin-recognzied Jatto in Wynwood.

He calls the cuisine “a story, not just a meal.”

“We lead with flavor, soul and showmanship,” he said.

Some of the kitchen’s specialties include mofongo croquetas; ceviche; fried whole snapper; and jerk lamb shank. There’s also a braised Cuban oxtail served with a fufu cake, Haitian pikliz and a tamarind-chile gastrique and bone marrow timba.

The beverage program, created by director Omar Miro, features drinks like the Havana Vice (anejo blanco, pink peppercorn, strawberries, jasmin cordial, pina colada air and and LED garnish) and the Maria Teresa (vodka, lychee cordial, dry vermouth, Cointreau, mint, lemongrass and spiced sour dust).

Miro, formerly of Sexy Fish and East Hotel, loves a spectacle, too, so expect unique touches like edible glass and gold-dusted martinis.
