This popular sports bar in a South Miami-Dade strip mall has suddenly closed
Pubgrill, a popular sports bar inside a Cutler Bay strip mall, is no more.
A notice on the door says that the the business was evicted by the sheriff’s department.
Earlier this month, the homey hangout was teeming with patrons ordering up burgers, sliders and their signature garlic wings, usually accompanied by a beer or two.
Pubgrill was one of the few restaurants at the busy strip mall, which is anchored by a Publix, and also houses a Five Below, Harbor Freight Tools and Chuck E Cheese.
Overall, on Yelp, Pubgrill received an average of five stars with folks recently praising a few of the hole in the wall’s more consistent dishes such as the mahi tacos, truffle fries and French onion soup. The pumpkin brew was also a hit.
“It was such a pleasant surprise to discover this delicious pub in town,” raved one reviewer. “I almost feel like it’s nestled and tucked away right under your nose easy to get to and easy to spend time with your friends and family catching up and enjoying dinner.”
