This fast-casual spot for spice on Miami Beach is opening a new restaurant
A little South Beach spice is heading to South Miami.
Sriracha House, the fast-casual Southeast Asian restaurant that opened in Miami Beach in 2014, has opened a new location in South Miami. The brand, which features Asian street food and wok dishes, also is one of the vendors in Doral’s popular Shoma Bazaar food hall.
Owned by husband-and-wife team Emilio Benzadon and Jessica Knopf, the new Sriracha House is almost 3,000 square feet, with 50 seats indoors and 30 outdoors. Decorated with graffiti touches and a mural by artist Rey Jaffet, the restaurant offers lunch, dinner and late night bites.
You’ll find some of the Beach Sriracha House favorites on the menu, of course, including stir-fry options like karmayaki (egg noodles, roasted chicken breast, broccoli and Japanese teriyaki sauce); SoBe sweet and sour (jasmine rice, pork, pineapple and Chinese sweet and sour sauce) and favorite Bring the Heat (Udon noodles, steak, baby corn, cilantro and hot chili sauce).
The new restaurant will also feature a few new menu items, like kimchi fried rice and spicy noodle bop (a rice and ramen mix with flank steak, a sunny side up egg and sweet and spicy bacon). There’s also a new chilled Thai noodle salad and, for big groups, a street fare platter with gyozas, chicken wings, edamame and veggie spring rolls.
The restaurant will also offer vegetarian and vegan choices as well as a lemonade bar, bubble teas, sake and beer.
