Wynwood is full of restaurants, and this one involves fresh seafood. Lots and lots of it.

Manta is just around the corner from Wynwood Walls, offering the popular fusion of Peruvian and Japanese cuisines.

The menu includes Japanese favorites like sushi rolls, nigiri and sashimi, plus Peruvian specialties like ceviches and tiraditos. Other dishes blend the flavors of both cuisines.

The restaurant sources its seafood from the waters off Peru.

Co-owner Andres Lozada said that he’s excited for Manta Nikkei to join “the vibrant food scene of Miami.”

“Our aim is to create a memorable experience that celebrates the harmonious union of two extraordinary cultures,” he said.
