This national ‘neighborhood’ spot just opened its first Florida restaurant in Miami
The restaurant that aims to be the “greatest neighborhood spot” has arrived in Brickell.
The Henry, a restaurant and bar from Sam Fox, an 11-time James Beard-nominated restaurateur, has opened its first Florida location on the first floor of Brickell City Centre. The brand, which aims for neighborhood-friendly fare and service, also has locations in Arizona, California and Texas.
“We are thrilled to open The Henry at Brickell City Centre and offer locals and visitors a new go-to spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything in between,“ said Fox, who is responsible for brands that include True Food Kitchen. “We love the energy of the city and think our restaurant is the perfect fit.”
The Henry is open for lunch and dinner, serving what it calls “globally inspired new American cuisine.”
That includes popular dishes like short rib pot stickers, spicy tuna and crispy rice, Scottish salmon with cauliflower tahini and toasted grains, and Korean prime skirt steak with spicy double egg fried rice and pickled shiitake mushrooms.
The restaurant also serves a popular brunch on Saturday and Sundays, with cinnamon sugar French toast, smashed avocado toast and a rancheros breakfast bowl, along with the requisite spritzes and mimosas and its special Hanks Espresso Martini.
The Henry has also included a twist close to Miami’s heart: There’s a ventanita that starts serving coffee and pastries at 7 a.m. every day.
