Poll: With COVID-19 cases rising in Miami, will you still eat out at a restaurant?

As the surge of COVID-19 cases continues in South Florida, are you still willing to eat out?

Despite the lengthy lines for COVID testing, which have doubled in size since I started this sentence, many restaurants seem to be packed during this holiday break. Even though you can’t find a rapid test anywhere these days, and who wants to spend six hours at Tropical Park using up gas and patience?

The question plagues food writers, too. Herald food editor Carlos Frías found out he’d been exposed to COVID halfway through a recent meal at Orno. What do you do in that case? Leave immediately or stay and hope for the best?

Carlos and his party stayed (and no one tested positive). But it makes us wonder about the habits of Miami diners.

Tell us what you’re doing in the poll below. It’s not scientific, of course. But we’re curious. And if you can’t see the poll, turn off your ad blocker.
