Got a hot dinner date? Here are some of the best places to get romantic in Miami
If you’re trying to dial up your next date night, Miami has plenty of great options.
We’ve narrowed them down to eight of our favorites, and we think you’ll fall in love with them, too. No matter what your budget, these spots check all the boxes: great food, amazing ambiance, and top-notch service.
Ariete & Nave
Two Coconut Grove favorites, Ariete and its neighbor Navé, share a lovely outdoor patio that is perfect for a romantic evening out. Dine at Ariete for savory delicacies like beef heart tartare, venison with truffle potatoes, and the star — Rohan duck for two. Opt for Navé if you’re craving delicious pastas, seafood, and Italian-inspired classics.
Ariete and Navé: 3540 Main Hwy., Coconut Grove; 786-615-3747 or www.arietecoconutgrove.com and www.navemiami.com.
The Den at Azabu
For foodie couples, few experiences compare to the omakase experience that awaits at Azabu’s The Den. The concept recently featured a new, wagyu-oriented dining experience through July, but sushi lovers will be gratified to know The Den is back to omakase sushi now.
The Den at Azabu: in the Marriott Stanton Hotel, 161 Ocean Dr., Miami Beach; 786-276-0520 or www.azabuglobal.com.
Casa Tua Miami Beach
While the food at Casa Tua is sublime, it’s the setting that really dials up the romance. The restaurant’s intimate, lantern-lit garden is the definition of enchanting and a beautiful setting to enjoy conversation with your love over homemade truffle pasta, caviar, and fine Italian wine. If you’re tempted to turn dinner into a romantic escape, the villa is also a boutique inn.
Casa Tua: 1700 James Ave., Miami Beach; 305-673-1010 or http://www.casatualifestyle.com/miami/.
Juvia
One of Miami Beach’s most iconic rooftop restaurants, Juvia is practically an institution. Not only are the views stunning day and night, but the food is delicious no matter what meal you’re sitting down to. From mimosa-fueled brunches to candlelit dinners, it’s a safe bet if you’re looking to wow (and woo) someone special.
Juvia: 1111 Lincoln Rd, Miami Beach; 305-763-8272 or www.juviamiami.com.
Kiki On The River
If delicious Greek- and Med-inspired dishes and dazzling waterfront views mean romance to you, this is your spot. Grab a table on the deck close to the river or inside in the restaurant’s flower-bedecked, garden-like dining room — no matter where you sit, you’ll enjoy awe-inspiring views. Make sure you come for the sunset, then stick around after dark and watch the space come alive with dancing and thumping beats.
Kiki On The River: 450 NW N. River Dr., Miami; 786-502-3243 or www.kikiontheriver.com.
Peacock Garden
The selling point of this beautiful hidden Coconut Grove gem is its lush, enchanting garden setting — but everything on the menu is just as wow-worthy. Start with the crispy crust brie, served with apricot confit, then try the lobster rolls or Charlie Peacock’s signature seafood risotto. For dessert, the tiramisu is as delicious as it is adorable.
Peacock Garden: 2889 McFarlane Rd., Miami; 305-774-3332 or www.peacockgardenrestobar.com.
Toscana Divino
Nothing says “amore” like some good Old World Italian cuisine, and Toscana Divino does it right. Renovated last year, this Brickell favorite features a new patio designed by Italian architect Fulvio Rottigni that’s perfect for a romantic lunch or dinner al fresco. Kick off your date with a couple of smoked Negronis or a bottle from the restaurant’s head-spinning wine list, and get ready for a feast of homemade pasta, crave-worthy classics, and decadent desserts.
Toscana Divino: 900 South Miami Ave., Miami; 305-930-8052 or www.toscanadivino.com.
