Miami Spice is returning. Here are all the restaurants that are participating this year

Handout

Here’s how you know things are getting back to normal in South Florida: Miami Spice is back.

The annual dining promotion, which offers fixed-price deals on brunch, lunch and dinner at Miami-Dade County restaurants, has published the 114 restaurants participating this year. Many of the restaurants have also shared their menus.

The promotion runs Aug. 1 through Sept. 30. To see the full list of restaurants, visit the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau website, miamiandthebeaches.com.

The number of restaurants participating this year is down from more than 200 in years past, no surprise since the coronavirus pandemic was a crushing blow to the industry. The promotion went largely ignored last year, since restaurants were closed or limited during spikes in COVID-19 cases. Those restaurants that did participate offered a sort-of Spice to Go.

But many of those participating this year are using the promotion as a way to reintroduce themselves to diners returning to restaurants, with brunch and lunch starting at $28 a person or $42 for dinner. Prices have crept up slightly, from $23 and $39 two years ago.

The Miami Spice website breaks down the restaurants by neighborhood, cuisine type, dietary options (including kosher and vegan) and which days of the week it is offered.
