Your favorite late-night sandwich shop in Miami Beach is now serving in Coral Gables

Miami Beach’s favorite late-night spot for sandwiches is bringing its buns south.

The Sandwicherie, which has been serving sandwiches, salads and smoothies with a French flair on South Beach since 1988, has opened a new restaurant on the pedestrian Giralda Avenue in Coral Gables. There are already outposts in North Beach, Brickell and Wynwood.

The new spot will feature the fresh baguettes and soft croissants that made The Sandwicherie famous. You can also thrill to the siren song of its beloved vinaigrette.

You’ll see old favorites like the Tropical (avocado, mozzarella, papaya, mango and pineapple, with lettuce, tomato and cucumber); the Frenchie (French salami and brie); and the Alaskan (smoked salmon and mozzarella).

You can also order salads, smoothies, vegetable juices and milkshakes.

The main difference? The Coral Gables location won’t stay open quite as late as its South Beach sister, which serves the late-night bar crowd until 5 a.m. The Gables restaurant is open until midnight, though, which is pretty late for the City Beautiful.
