We just found the perfect takeout meal in Wynwood: Chicken in a cone (fight us)

As restaurants begin to reopen in South Florida, we still will remain vigilant, cautious and social distance like hell.

But there’s one newly opened restaurant that looks like it was tailor made for the shelter-in-place lifestyle.

ChickNCone in Wynwood, offering up the ideal to-go meal.

“Fried chicken. Waffle cone. What’s not to love?” reads a Facebook post for the Wynwood joint.

We totally agree. Handheld food is where it’s at. Just grab your cone, preferably with gloves, take it outside, pull down your mask and consume. You can even walk around with the thing as you avoid other people.

The fast-casual restaurant started in NYC and has a location in Fort Lauderdale as well as in Tampa and St. Petersburg.

The price of a cone is $8, almost the same as an ice cream these days, but with way more protein and just as fun.

Oh and you can order fries with that. One flavor: Cajun. One size: Skinny.

Sauces include a spicy ranch, two types of BBQ, a cinnamon maple mix, peri peri chili sauce and buffalo bleu cheese.

Make it a meal for $12. We can’t think of a better way to spend our stimulus money.

“So clucking good,” is their motto. We are headed over now.
