Stop cooking! Some of your favorite Miami restaurants reopened for takeout, delivery

Restaurant dining rooms may not yet be open, but some of Miami’s favorite spots are returning with takeout and delivery.

Some restaurants continued to remain in business after Miami-Dade county closed dining rooms in March to control the spread of the coronavirus. But others, known for their ambiance as much as their food, shuttered altogether as they tried to wait out the pandemic.

The county has said it doesn’t have a time frame for opening dining rooms yet, even as guidelines for reopening show how drastically dining out will change.

So some are getting ready by starting up their takeout operations. Here’s a list of some of the new spots.

And this holds true: If there’s a restaurant you used to patronize before the shutdown, call them. They most likely are doing takeout and delivery.

Beaker & Gray

Chef Brian Nasajon is back with signature dishes, such as yellow curry noodles and green papaya salad. Also, family meals in several styles including grilled shrimp, quinoa salad, field greens and roasted cauliflower. A Meat Lover family meal includes thick cut bacon, hangar steak and duck confit. Some of their signature drinks from co-owner Ben Potts are also offered as batched cocktails.
