Poke OG is branching out.

The vendor in 1-800-Lucky food hall in Wynwood has opened its first standalone restaurant in downtown Miami.

The 1,200-square-foot restaurant, which has 25 seats inside and 12 seats outside, will continue to specializing in Hawaiian-inspired and vegan-friendly bowls.

“Since we opened our first Miami location inside 1-800-Lucky, we couldn’t be more humbled by all the support and love we’ve received from the community,” founder and operator Andrew Mayer said in a release. “Our poke is a true mixture of fresh ingredients, Hawaiian recipes and aloha.”

Mayer and executive chef Ryan Leto trained with Roy Yamaguchi, considered the “godfather of Hawaiian cuisine.”

Customers can build their own bowls, with some vegan and gluten free options. Poke OG favorites include Big Island OG (ahi tuna, sweet onions, green onions, fried onions, cucumber and tossed in Hawaiian OG sauce, served over white rice); Top Shelf OG (poached jumbo shrimp, edamame, cucumbers, green onions, sweet onions, Bubu Arare and prepared with truffle white soy vinaigrette, served over Furikake white rice) and Pineapple OG (pineapple, edamame, sweet onions, green onions, cucumber, tossed in fire sauce and served over zucchini noodles).

The restaurant will also open a branch later this month at Sistrunk Marketplace, Fort Lauderdale’s first food hall. And don’t worry about the 1-800-Lucky location. It will remain open.
