Pass the ketchup: This new Wynwood spot feeds your late-night burger cravings
There’s a new spot in Wynwood to fill your late-night burger desires.
The Dirty Burgers comes to you fresh from the minds of the creators the Wynwood bar The Dirty Rabbit.
There, you drink and dance. Here, you eat burgers (or maybe a fried chicken sandwich).
The restaurant, which is open four days a week, specializes in Brasstown beef, cage-free chicken and fries.
Sounds basic, but Chef Nicolas Caicedo likes to add a twist to his specialties. Example: The Dirty Burger, with bacon jam, oaxaca cheese and Dijon mayo or The Dirty Dog, made from ranchera sausage, applewood smoked bacon, house-made relish, oaxaca cheese and pineapple jam.
And since crispy chicken sandwiches are a thing now, Dirty Burgers serves those, too, with cabbage slaw, pickles and spicy mayo.
Shakes are also a thing here, and it’s not all vanilla or chocolate. There’s Carrot Cake & Vanilla instead. Or Strawberry, Basil/Mint & Lemon Juice.
If all else fails, there’s beer.
