President Obama was in Miami so he headed to Wynwood for tacos, obviously

It's not everyday a POTUS goes to Wywood, but when he does, he eats at COYO Tacos

In town Friday for an Andrew Gillum rally at the Ice Palace, President Barack Obama stunned guests when he stopped into Wynwood’s COYO Taco for a quick fix, saying “I hear these are the best tacos around.”

Obama spoke to the restaurant’s staff and owners, saying, “I’m so proud of you guys, this is what the United States is all about-hard-working immigrants and children of immigrants making their dreams come true.”

The ex POTUS then put in a to-go order of a few of the menu’s greatest hits: one Cochinita Pibil Taco, one Pollo al Carbon Taco, one Camaron taco, one order of guac and one Esquite (corn off the cob). If you don’t believe it, one intrepid Miami Herald reporter fished the receipt from the garbage:

Still shook from their brush with American history, COYO expressed their appreciation in an Instagram post, saying, “This group of immigrants will always love you.”

“I hear these are the best tacos around” is the way our president just walked into COYO TACO to eat. He went on to say how proud he is of us for being a small business and growing the way we have. We went on to tell him that we are opening in Lisbon this week and he said “I’m so proud of you guys, this is what United States is all about, hard-working immigrants and children of immigrants making their dreams come true”…..this group of immigrants will always love you!!❤️❤️ Forever our President
