Are you hungry? This weekend the food festivals in Miami are legion

Holy mother of mercy. You’d better put on an elastic waistband this weekend because there is so much food to be devoured at Miami’s many foodie feeding frenzies. Here are the big ones.

Chicharron, jicama and jalapeño with katsu and lotus root? That’s the kind of Asian fusion happening in Miami, where the LUCKYRICE Asian festival highlights South Florida’s melange of cultures with tastings from a variety of local restaurants and cocktails aplenty.

Seafood Fest and Fish Fry

The 5th annual Seafood Fest and Fish Fry features delectable local seafood in various styles from around the world plus music from live bands and children’s activities, including learning how to fish.

10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday at Redland Fruit & Spice Park, 24801 SW 187 Ave., Homestead; $8 for adults, and free for children ages 11 and under.

Chipotle Cultivate Festival

Sit in on chef chats and cooking demos from several big names, including Michelle Bernstein, Michael Schwartz, Amanda Freitag and Adrianne Calvo. Plus there will be plenty of eats from Chipotle’s own stable of burritos and tacos and live music, led by the Los Angeles band Capital Cities.

Pork Is Good (P.I.G.)

A food fest for pork lovers where Miami’s most skilled chefs at butchery prepare inventive dishes to wow the crowd. On this year’s roster are Aaron Brooks of Edge Steak and Bar, Dale Talde of Talde Miami Beach, Pat Rebholz of Swine and Niven Patel.
